Wall Setup Guide
1. Ensure the wall is suitable
First, see our "Wall Compatibilty Check" guide. If the wall is suitable to install the Magnetic Chalkboard - then go to step 2 below.
2. Prepare the surface / wall
Clean the wall area with a dry or damp cloth to remove dust etc. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the chalkboard.
3. Flatten the Magnetic Wall Chalkboard
Unroll and place the chalkboard on a flat surface for 24 hours. Use weights on the corners to allow it to relax into a flat shape for easier installation on the wall.
4. Apply from the corner
Peel back the protective film and starting at the bottom-right or left corner press the corner into place, then work upwards, while smoothing it with your free hand.
5. Ensure adhesion
Use a flat object (e.g. a hardcover book with a kitchen towel around it) or the included scraper to smooth the chalkboard and remove any air bubbles.
6. Removal
To remove the chalkboard, peel back slowly at a 45° angle. The chalkboard is moveable* and can be reapplied again by following the above steps.
*NOTE: Moveability and reapplication is conditioned upon keeping the "sticky" side of the Magnetic Wall Decal clean and dust free.
